Market Overview for Ashland
July 2017
The Ashland condo market looks to be nearing a top for this cycle, as inventories have started to build, and condo seller's optimism is at an all time high. Prices are still moving up though, and are up a 23% in since 2014.

Let's not be too pessimistic though, the market is still quite good. But I did notice that the number of units for sale was at a high (32) and the days on market for those units not sold is also near all-time highs. In short, buyers are getting picky, and turning away at the overpriced items.

What should condo buyers in Ashland do for strategy?
Condo buyers have choices, although many are targeted at the over 55 community, and those are among the pricier options. Other condos are moving quickly and buyers need a more aggressive strategy to be successful.
What should potential condo sellers in Ashland do for Strategy?
Condo sellers will find a good market. Prices remain rational and moving up, but don't look for buyers who are going to do a big overpay for unit that doesn't show well. Top showing units are moving the quickest.
