The Ashland, MA Homes For Sale Market Report

 

Welcome back! Well we haven't looked at Ashland data since July, and the market looked hot then, but the data now shows how hot it's really been, putting out the second highest score ever in the HSI since I started it.

Here's a summary of some of the eye-popping numbers:

1) 37 homes for sale. Just 37!! I've seen Ashland lower than this, but this is really low. Talk about picked over!! If you're selling your house in Ashland and not getting gobs of traffic, call me please!! Buyers, time to start thinking about your back-up town!! There's not much here.

2) Bank-impacted (short-sales and foreclosures) homes for sale are UP! That's a surprise. Hope we don't see more of that.

3) As I noted in the last report, it was weird that $/sq foot hadn't gone up. I had a theory, and it looks like it was right. Score one for Matt.

  • There is an Average Market Time of 202 days (vs. 162) of the homes For Sale.
  • The Dollars paid per Square Foot in Ashland, MA is $177 (vs. $167 )
  • There was an Average Sold Price of $353,644 for sold homes.
  • Ashland, MA has 4 properties (vs. 2) advertised as lender owned/foreclosure (typically foreclosure) .
  • Ashland, MA has 3 properties (vs. 4) advertised as a short-sale is going to be needed by lender .
