Analysis of Boylston Housing Market Statistics
The number of short sales and foreclosures are down percentage wise from the active inventory. Even though the hot seller index nudged up, the statistics show the market is still predisposed to weakening. Currently, the homes for sale have only been on for 130 days (looks like the market was late in Boylston), but those numbers should increase quickly with the spring season behind us. There still seems to be too many sellers in Boylston, as see in the For Sale/Sold ratio, and the Days on Market for Sold - well over 200 days. Sellers need to get more aggressive on price to find their buyers, as there is competition even in the small town of Boylston. Buyers won't find much selection, it's a small town, but will like find some impatient sellers.
