The Boylston Homes For Sale Market Report

First report of 2015 is out! December was busy, and I gearing up for 2015 was a priority, so I am behind in my posting. But not for long! Let's get the first chart out of the way.

Can’t see the chart? You can find it Here .

OK, Boylston is a small town, not a lot of transactions, but the key item to look at is the inventory line. I've already chatted with a number of my colleagues this year, and "lack of homes to see" is right on the top of the list. There were quite a few sales this fall - there's more than one busy season you know - and that combined with some seasonal pull offs, have left a dearth of homes on the market. I think this trend will home, but Boylston is an extreme example, as this report is actual a record for minimal inventory.

What should active home buyers do in Boylston?

Ack, you'll need to wait for more stuff most likely. With just 14 homes on the market, it's awfully thin. Hope you have a back up town, and hope that the amount of snow we get remains minimal.

What should potential home sellers do in Boylston ?

I would think about getting out there! Buyers are moving and grooving and looking at homes. They are still getting their bearings for 2015, but it's going to be busy. Prices have jumped in Boylston, showing that buyers are being aggressive, and that's a good time to be out there. Really, Boylston - hit hard in the downturn - has rebounded spectacularly, as you can see in this detail chart.

Prices are up a lot in Boylston over the last 3 years.
