Prices jumped, but the HSI is just "OK" - 110. What gives? That doesn't usually translate to a 5% rise in prices. Ah, but remember, there's lot of new construction in Northbridge - and lots of un-marketed inventory. But in any town with that much building, if the builders raise rates - everyone benefits. (This also happens when the builders run out of inventory as well). It looks like one or both of those things is happening, and there's a big spike in prices as a result.
What should active home buyers do in Northbridge?
Prices are probably not done moving - and won't pull back either. If the inventory is tightening up for home buyers, this could be the start of a run where prices normalize in Northbridge, and that means they'll go higher. Choose quickly, my friend.
