The Sutton Homes For Sale Market Report

The Sutton housing market has taken a pretty sharp shift to favor sellers. With just

38 homes for sale, and many of those headed for the sold column, buyers are going to find the January market awfully bare. I have a theory that there are going to be a lot of sellers in January and February - a hangover from the election cycle where things were very quiet - but we won't be able to see if that theory has any merit this week. As we've seen elsewhere, the buyers have really been the story, as they have continued to buy property - even though sellers have largely stayed off the market. Buyers will have to be aggressive in Sutton - don't let a property you like go to

someone else over a couple of thousand dollars!! Sellers should use the spring market to push prices up, as the demand is there.

 

Just as an aside, we've seen a huge jump in $/sq foot in Sutton, with a record at $160

  • The Dollars paid per Square Foot in Sutton is $160 (vs. $152 )
  • There was an Average Sold Price of $317,525 for sold homes.
