Upton Housing Market Statistics Overview
Upton is a small town, so we don't want to read too much into this data set, but it certainly has an auspicious look to it. The fall was terrible, with sales dropping off from a wonderful clip. Maybe, it has to do with the easy fruit being picked from the tree, but we won't know until we get some fresh listings in 2012. Looks like a neutral market, buyers and sellers both need do do some work to find a match in Upton.

No real change in the "shadow" inventory. I've been tracking bank impacted inventory across all Metrowest, and really haven't seen any real increase in foreclosures or short-sales. It's still too much of the markets, but it's hardly a drag on them at this point.
