Homes For Sale in Sutton Market Report

Turning our gaze Westward at a true Worcester suburb, we look at the market for Sutton.

 

Sutton really has not participated in the real estate recovery very much. Prices are about where they were in 2011 in this report, although they have bounced around a bit.

Prices have stayed flat, and with the HSI headed in the

wrong direction, they are likely to stay that way.

Like the other towns, Sutton has lower inventory. Unlike the other towns, Sutton's number of house for sale is actually up a bit in this report.

 

The HSI here is also back under 100, and that is something we have not seen very often. Sutton however has only cracked 100 once, and that was in the last report.

  • There is an Average Market Time of 149 days of the homes For Sale (currently for sale).
  • The amount that was paid in Dollars per Square Foot averaged $155 (vs. $159 )
  • There was an Average Sold Price of $295,090 for sold homes.
  • Sutton, MA, has 2 properties (vs. 0 in the last report) advertised as lender owned or foreclosure (typically foreclosure) .
  • Sutton has 0 properties (Vs. 0) advertised as a short-sale is going to be needed by lender.
